Panda's and other animals that live in forests or rain forests are struggling to survive, and soon they will be extinct because people are cutting down more trees than they can grow and not replanting new ones to replace the one that the cut down. Animals will soon have no where to live or eat so they will die. If we cut down all the trees all the oxygen will disappear and everyone living on earth will die because there will be no oxogen to survive. So no trees equals no air, no air means we will all die and so will all the animals!!!

I learnt that the root cause of deforestation is the failure of the world’s market economy.
I learnt that destruction of the rainforest releases carbon dioxide through disturbing the substantial residue of carbon in the soil.
I learnt that The science of this human-induced carbon exchange is complex but there are consensus that deforestation contributes about 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions, more than the world's transport sector.

It also showed that you have an understanding of the process of deforestation. Your introduction was well read, effective and just enough information, not over the audience's head! The quiz was fantastic, very interactive and got the class involved, what a great activity for a hot afternoon. Not only have you been successful in presenting your findings to the class in an engaging and interactive way, you have also shown a good understanding of your research answers and adapted the information for the class. You have an awareness of the cause and effect of greenhouse gases being emitted into the atmosphere as a result of deforestation.
